Throughout the 2025\/2026 school year, we worked with students from technical secondary schools, introducing them to the world of offshore wind energy and demonstrating the rapid growth of the sector and the exciting career opportunities it offers to young people.<br>Our goal is not only to increase awareness of renewable energy but, above all, to inspire students to make informed decisions about their future and develop the skills and competencies that will be in high demand in the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>The Programme in Numbers<br><\/strong>During the 2025\/2026 school year, the &#8220;Career with the Wind&#8221; programme included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>approximately 270 students participating in the programme,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 partner schools from different regions of Poland,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nearly 100 workshops and educational sessions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>around 50 quizzes and knowledge competitions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 study visits, giving students the opportunity to experience the offshore wind industry firsthand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The programme was delivered in the following schools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kazimierz Pu\u0142aski Mechanical and Electrical Schools Complex in Cz\u0119stochowa,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy Schools Complex in Gda\u0144sk,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stanis\u0142aw Staszic District Schools Complex in K\u0142anino,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>District Centre for Vocational and Continuing Education in Puck,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>W\u0142adys\u0142aw Orkan Secondary School No. 2 in Szczecin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Education Tailored to Local Needs<\/strong><br>Although every school participating in the &#8220;Career with the Wind&#8221; programme shared the same objective\u2014preparing young people for careers in the modern energy sector\u2014the activities were tailored to the profile of each class and the specific needs of the students.<br>In Cz\u0119stochowa, workshops combined offshore wind energy topics with soft skills development and practical guidance on career opportunities in the renewable energy sector.<br>For students in Gda\u0144sk, one of the programme highlights was a study visit to Baltic Towers, where they gained valuable insight into the manufacturing and operational facilities supporting Poland&#8217;s growing offshore wind industry.<br><br>In K\u0142anino, students systematically expanded their knowledge of wind energy through workshops, quizzes, and activities designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. In Puck, the programme focused on practical aspects of offshore wind technologies, workplace safety, and career development opportunities within the industry.<br>Students in Szczecin visited the GWO Wulkan training centre, where they explored the state-of-the-art facilities used to train specialists working on offshore wind farms.
