Ocean Winds symbolically inaugurated the construction of its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) base in Władysławowo through the signing of a foundation deed and the laying of a foundation stone. The facility will serve as the main operational, logistics and maintenance hub for the BC-Wind offshore wind farm for decades to come. The event was attended by representatives of Ocean Winds, as well as invited guests representing local and regional authorities.
Ocean Winds has commenced the construction of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) base in Władysławowo, which will support the operation of the BC-Wind offshore wind farm for approximately 30 years. The ceremonial inauguration took place on 23 September 2026 at the project site. Attendees included representatives of Ocean Winds and regional and local authorities, including Emil Rojek – Deputy Voivode of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, Jarosław Kumięga from the Marshal’s Office of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, Tomasz Herrmann from the Puck County Office, as well as the Mayor of Władysławowo, Roman Kużel, and Deputy Mayor Kamil Pach.

During the inauguration ceremony, the visualisation of the future base building, designed by Haskoning Polska, which supported Ocean Winds in the design and permitting process for the facility, was officially unveiled. The two-storey building, including a mezzanine level, will offer approximately 1,200 m² of usable floor space. Located at the intersection of Portowa Street and Władysława IV Street in Władysławowo, the facility will comprise office, welfare and warehouse areas. The base will include operational, dispatch, office and storage facilities supporting the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the BC-Wind offshore wind farm.
