The First Renewable Energy Systems and Equipment Class from Kłanino Joins the “Career with the Wind” Programme

In the 2026/2027 school year, we became the patron of the first class of a newly established technical programme at the Stanisław Staszic County School Complex in Kłanino. As part of this initiative, we aim to deliver a long-term programme of workshops and meetings to familiarise students with the offshore wind sector and the career opportunities it offers.

At Ocean Winds, we are consistently committed to supporting young people as they take their first steps towards a career in the offshore wind sector. That is why, as part of the sixth edition of our educational programme, “Career with the Wind”, we have become the patron of the first class specialising in Renewable Energy Systems and Equipment Technology at the Stanisław Staszic County School Complex in Kłanino.

The school in Kłanino has been part of the programme for four years. The launch of this specialised class marks a new initiative, opening further opportunities for students from the region to develop the skills and expertise needed to pursue careers in the offshore wind industry.

The launch of the new class was marked by a ceremony that also celebrated the opening of a new section of the school. The event was attended by Jarosław Białk, Puck County Governor.

Soon, 29 students training to become renewable energy systems and equipment technicians will begin a training programme developed in collaboration with our partner, Przemysłowa Akademia Rozwoju (PAR). Through our patronage, we aim to deliver a long-term programme of workshops and meetings that will give students a deeper understanding of the sector and the career paths available in offshore wind.

Our cooperation with the Stanisław Staszic County School Complex in Kłanino is an important indication that both educational institutions and local communities recognise the long-term potential of the renewable energy sector as a source of stable, well-paid employment. We believe that collaboration between education and business is an important step towards preparing the next generation of specialists to meet the challenges of Poland’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
