Warsaw, 10 September 2026: Ocean Winds is commencing the lease of Świnoujście Offshore Terminal for the development of the BC-Wind offshore wind farm. The installation terminal in Świnoujście will play an important role in the preparation, transportation and installation of foundations and transition pieces. Ocean Winds will be the first tenant to make full use of the terminal’s potential and the entire available area for the construction of BC-Wind.
The lease of the terminal began in early September 2026 and will continue until the fourth quarter of 2027. During this period, Świnoujście Offshore Terminal will be one of the key logistics and installation facilities supporting the BC-Wind project and the construction of the offshore wind farm.
Świnoujście Offshore Terminal was designed to support offshore wind projects in the region. Its infrastructure enables the handling of vessels used in the construction of offshore wind farms, as well as the logistics of components, including their unloading, storage, preparation and loading onto installation vessels.

It is also a practical example of how Polish port infrastructure and local capabilities can support the development of offshore wind in Poland. Ultimately, the terminal will serve as a strategic hub for the ORLEN Group’s second-phase offshore wind projects – Baltic East and Baltic West.”
Installation works related to the BC-Wind foundations will be carried out using specialised installation vessels and precision positioning systems. Monopile installation is planned for the end of the first and beginning of the second quarter of 2027, while the installation of the transition pieces is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2027.
